[survive] ~ continue to live or exist , especially in spite of danger or hardship moorclan and coveclan have lived and thrived together for many , many seasons now . each have had their hardships with each other , but have had the strength to support eachother in the darkest of times . with new - leaf brings new kits . with new kits brings new warriors . but what happens when there are too many mouths to feed when the cold season comes along ? a decision must be made and a new clan must be created in order to survive .

While RyeClan and ShallowClan are both strong clans in their own right, their bitter rivalry runs acrid through the river and has torn apart generations. As adversity approaches from all sides, the two clans must struggle through, whether apart or together, and decide their fate.

Being able to manipulate elements is common among the clan cats. ThunderClan have many heavy-defensive earth and poison type cats, RiverClan cats are often the enviable water manipulators, ShadowClan are sharp offensive fire types, and WindClan swift air manipulators. The Clans prospered with tense peacefulness, and they grew in great number, several new rare manipulation types even popped up, like ice and wood. Then it happened. ThunderClan attacked. With the realization that RiverClan, the largest of the Clans, held the advantage of water being stronger than their earth and poison, they slaughtered over half of RiverClan in a night relentless battle. Smokepaw was known as the RiverClan prodigy, greatly skilled in fighting with her water abilities. Now she's known as just another one of the RiverClan survivors staying in ShadowClan. Smokepaw isn't dumb though. She knows ThunderClan wants her dead. Nobody remembers the old clans. Instead, two new clans have been born from the ashes of the past: ColdClan, the sturdy and kind mountain dwellers, and HeatClan, the lithe cats living in the exposed plain below. For the previous year, the two clans have been in turmoil. StarClan has not sent any signs to either clan for as long as some can remember, and the threats of predators that each clan faces grow more intense with every passing heartbeat. Skypaw and Sunpaw, two sisters living in ColdClan, have found threats in those they thought they could trust. Their bond as siblings grows stronger with each day as those around them begin to betray them. But when four kits are born, two in ColdClan and two in HeatClan, the cats begin to think that StarClan still has hope for them. Can Skypaw and Sunpaw figure out the mystery surrounding their clan?
