Makoto Naegi wakes up back at Hope's Peak Academy only it's just himself. It seems he can't talk or feel any emotion at this point only to find a murder in the principle office; another Makoto. Now the real Makoto and the mysterious game loving Chiaki Nanami must find out the other Makoto's murder while Naegi tries to find out what's going on.
