Though he's got friends on both side of Limbo, he always feels isolated, alone, misunderstood. One day, while on Earth to take a soul, he meets Damon. Grim is intrigued by the stubborn boy who spends his time alone, but knows he can't get closer to the boy. Why? Because, as a sort of punishment for his job, Grim can't talk to humans.

However, after watching Lucifer fall in love with a human boy he begins to wonder if he, too, could be loved. Then again, who would ever love someone like him? A fallen angel, a sinner, a hated spirit. Raziel, that's who. An angel who was once Azazel's closest friend, and still wants to be close to his heart. But Azazel has no place nor interest for the stubborn angel anymore. Or so he thinks.
