The world had gone to hell long ago, taken over by the vampire race. In order to keep some sort of peace in our land, the Vampire Lords made a consecutive agreement. The rich and powerful humans could survive just as they had been, untouched by the vampires save for the occasional blood collections, or so they thought In reality, we were all under their control. Castles spread out throughout our land, one landing in each city. Each castle varied in the number of vampires residing there, but all of them carried a Lord. The Lords were the ones in charge in every city, whether we liked it or not. The vampires often roam through the city, making sure that everyone was in order and no one stepped out of line. If you stepped out of line, you died, end of story. Even if the rich were still under their control, their lives were still better than the poor. The poorest lives held a much worse fate. The men were to be put to work as slaves, whether that meant serving a specific vampire, or just building their castles, they were slaves. The women were to be pets. Pets were the lowest rank you could have. They were forced into cages that were too small to stand in with collars around their necks. They spent their lives in pet shops, just waiting for the dreadful day that they'll be bought. They were treated like animals, trained into what their master wanted, and punished if they misbehaved. Those who were lucky enough to live through that, we're to be slaughtered for their blood at age twenty-five in an act to make sure that our population would stay steady. I was born into this world. Born into this world full of blood-sucking monsters. Except, I was one of the lucky ones. Was. It all ended for me when I was 12, when I was taken away from the last bit of hope and family that I had left. Ever since then, I've lived in a cage, just rotting away, waiting, dreading for the day that some monster would make me his. This is my life. I am a pet. ~~~ Cover by: @mshacake

This is an idea I borrowed from @RockAndMoonwalk_99. With her permission, of course. I will basically put some great Foo Fighters songs into Google Translate, do a bit of translating and see what we get. After seeing other examples, I know how weird songs can become, so hopefully these will be funny!

Nick Fury is a man without the time to teach a whiny group of super humans how to work as a team, so instead of sending the heroes into more war zones, he decides to give them a challenge unlike any other they've dealt with before - raising a kid. For the past six years, Charlotte Kelton has known nothing but her foster home. That is, of course, until she realizes that the strange group of people who just adopted her are the same ones who saved New York last summer. Will Charlotte finally be the one to unite the Avengers for a reason other than Nick Fury's orders or will she unknowingly become their greatest weakness? A/N: I decided to write this fanfiction due to the lack of actually realistic ones out there. My goal is to create a story that follows the original plot of the Marvel universe with my own unique twist on it, has proper grammar and spelling, and has canon characterization, plus without all the cliche "I met you five minutes ago so now I'm going to call you Dad". "Miss Pie?" The nurse huffs impatiently, her soft pink bangs falling into her eyes. "Are you ready to begin?" I struggle against my straight jacket. "There's nothing to talk about!!" I yelp, grinding my teeth together in frustration. This thing is too tight and I can't get it off! "Why am I even here?!" "Don't be silly, girl!" she scoffs, tucking her hair behind her ear and crossing her pudgy legs. "You mean to tell me you don't remember murdering those five innocent girls?! Not to mention your sister!" My heart tumbles from my chest and into my stomach, plummeting downwards like a broken elevator. "I-I didn't kill anybody! I didn't kill Maud!" "Dear, I understand if the memories are repressed. You were only a girl when you took your sister's life and I wouldn't expect you to--" "LET ME OUT!" I scream, tears streaming down my face. I'm thrashing back in forth in my restraints, the fabric taut as I writhe. "I DIN'T KILL ANYONE!" "Yes, dear," the nurse replies solemnly. "You did."
