After returning to school and and receiving her degree in education, she became a successful school teacher. Mrs.Penn's name is listed in the book of greatest teachers. Granny as she was called, around the house, also worked part time in the summer at the city parks and recreation. kids all over the city loved mrs.penn for her kindness and general concern for their well being. you often heard former students say " mrs.penn was the nicest teacher ever' or " when I had problems at home, I could always talk to mrs.penn" As time went on and Mrs.penn and her family grew older. Mrs.Penn would often end her day very tired and would climb the steps of her two story home, usually around 6p.m. and camp out in her bedroom. Usually she wouldn't return downstairs until the following day. That's where this story begins GRANNY'S HOUSE! first floor!
