"I'm not mad." ------ Cassandra Hargreeves- or Number Eight as her father always called her- was the eighth member of the Umbrella Academy. Despite having powers, she had spent her whole life on the sidelines. She had been trained to fight, of course, but having the power of predicting the future was never going to be useful in a fight. Sir Reginald Hargreeves never allowed her to go on missions with her other siblings with powers. But her power was stronger than he knew. Cassandra's visions haunted her and the one place she could never escape them was in her dreams. She would wake up screaming in the night, rambling about a forthcoming apocalypse that her father brushed off as nonsense. He told her that she'd merely grow out of these nightmares. And it seemed as if she did. As she grew up, her power grew with her. The older she got the more appalled she became by the images of destruction and chaos she saw. Try as she might to warn the others, however much she begged Five not leave her behind or how much she pleaded with Ben to just sit one mission out, no one ever listened to her... until it was too late. She saw the chaos of the apocalypse and this time she was going to make them believe.

"I'm about to make a prediction, okay? So listen close, you punk ass cultist." "Damn, what happened to you?" Klaus asked, narrowing his eyes at Cass who just stood before him, staring him down with a glassy look in her eyes. "You don't wanna know, now listen up. We don't have until 2019 to prevent the apocalypse. We have until Monday. We brought the apocalypse back with us." "What- but how?" Klaus stammered, "Wow this is bad." "No. It's good.," Cass said with a sinister smile on her lips, "We had a lot of loose ends in the future. Ends that date all the back to 1963. Did you ever wonder why dad decided to adopt us?" Klaus shook his head. "Believe me," Cass continued, "It took 8 people and a lot of pressure to get him to do it. And I think you'll find us Hargreeves kids to be very persuasive."

"How did you do that!?" - "I think it's pretty clear it's because I'm freaking magic!" On the first of October, 1989, 43 women around the world gave birth. Nothing about these pregnancies were out of the ordinary except that when the day started, they were not pregnant, which is extraordinary. And the fact that these children were all born with supernatural powers, which is incredibly extraordinary. Eccentric billionaire, Sir Reginald Hargreeves made it his mission to locate and train these children. He got seven of them: Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Number Five, Ben and Vanya. They formed the Umbrella Academy. Elena Romero was a normal girl that hadn't discovered what, if anything, was extraordinary about her. The only thing worth noting is her amazing ability to suffer through hellish dates and live with an over-dramatic mother and an addict of a brother. Some could say her super power was making her dysfunctional family appear functional. She was the glue that held her family together, she was their remedy. Elena Romero was born on the 1st of October, 1989. Elena's superpower, she had discovered, was not keeping her dysfunctional family together. It was, in fact, keeping herself together. She could miraculously heal all of her injuries. All except one. Having been left behind by the Umbrella Academy in the Icarus Theatre, Elena's power wasn't strong enough to heal herself during the end of the world. But, by some miracle, Elena didn't die. The Commission had other plans for her. Thanks to Five's group time travel, sending the Umbrella Academy back to the 1960s, along with the apocalypse, the timeline was all but destroyed. Time was poisoned because of them, and Elena was only adding to the toxin.
