Synopsis: "The Daycare"
Fifteen-year-old Lillien always thought of herself as mature and independent-until the day her Aunt Clara takes her to an unusual daycare center. Expecting to volunteer or help out, Lillien is instead met with a shocking reality: everyone in the daycare-children, teenagers, even young adults-wears diapers and uses pacifiers as part of the center's unique philosophy of care and comfort.
Confused and embarrassed, Lillien struggles to understand why her aunt would bring her to such a place. But when she learns that participation requires following the same rules, she faces an impossible choice: walk away or embrace an entirely different way of life.
As she steps into this strange new world, Lillien begins to question everything she thought she knew about growing up, acceptance, and what it truly means to feel safe. But will she find herself fitting in-or wanting to escape?
A thought-provoking story about identity, comfort, and the boundaries between childhood and adolescence, The Daycare challenges the idea of what it means to grow up... and whether we ever really have to.
