And there's something else, something that worries them. They're slowly forgetting what it was like to see. Gingerpaw has always longed to communicate with her other clanmates. But being deaf makes it practically impossible. She can barely speak, and she never understands what the other cats are saying. Sometimes, she worries that she'll never make it past an apprentice. These three cats don't think they have anyone who understands what they're going through. That is, until they meet each other.
