This is a story based on a one shot from my Gotham One Shots book, if you want to read that, the chapter is named 'Jerome x reader'. This is also the edited version of Jerome's Little Toy. I did slightly change the first chapter from the one shot, but they are almost identical. Jerome will most likely not die... ever in this story. Before they were Harley Quinn and The Joker, they were Harley (16) and Jerome (18). Two crazy teenage psychopaths, that were too blinded by each other's smile to see the dark twisted future ahead of them.

The oncoming storm, cold, ruthless and merciness Jeremiah Valeska felt the warmth of having a person to take care of like a family in his heart for the first time in his life, maybe ever. He didn't know if he just liked her to be dependent on him but it didn't matter. He crouched down over her and fondled her head, softly said; "Wanna go to sleep?"

Irene Jenkins was dropped off at Haly's circus as a newborn. She grew up with twins Jerome and Jeremiah Valeska. They were the best of friends, the perfect trio. But, when things go sour between the brothers, who's side will Irene choose? This is a choice story, there's Jerome's route or Jeremiah's route. The first couple of chapters will be background on Jerome, Jeremiah, and Irene, then the rest of the book will either be Jerome's chapters or Jeremiah's.
