Tyler Oakley moves to New York for a fresh start from his dangerous, dark, old life. Suddenly he stumbles upon Troye Sivan, a private detective with a high intelligence and amazing blue eyes. Troye Sivan decides to learn guitar (he's recently moved to LA) and wants to pursue his singing career so he can make it big in the pop industry. Tyler oakley has always been passionate about music, and has been able to play guitar all his life. He's 24 and teaches guitar lessons at his apartment in LA, but one day things turn around when he gets a new student...

It's just too easy to expect that self-proclaimed homophobes (like Troye Sivan) and a homosexuals themselves (like Tyler Oakley) could never get along. Not even mindless vengeful plans or diabolic fake babies or constant mockery or accidental not-dates or attempts to make each other's lives a living hell could force a decent acquaintanceship upon them, much less was there a chance that they'd develop weird yet genuine relationships and feelings that definitely crosses the border of friendship.
