His mother always made enough money to support the two of them, and Alex adopted that work ethic when he moved out of his mom's home. A cozy apartment, a good job with long hours to distract his time with, and a good set of friends. Yeah, his life wasn't too bad. Both men's lives changed one day in a pouring rainstorm. A chance encounter leads to an act of kindness, and so much more.
