Wuthering Heights is a wild, passionate story of the intense and almost demonic love between Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, a foundling adopted by Catherine's father. After Mr Earnshaw's death, Heathcliff is bullied and humiliated by Catherine's brother Hindley and wrongly believing that his love for Catherine is not reciprocated, leaves Wuthering Heights, only to return years later as a wealthy and polished man. He proceeds to exact a terrible revenge for his former miseries. The action of the story is chaotic and unremittingly violent, but the accomplished handling of a complex structure, the evocative descriptions of the lonely moorland setting and the poetic grandeur of vision combine to make this unique novel a masterpiece of English literature.

Sometimes, the ending we get isn't the one we deserved. As a huge fan of Jennifer Iacopelli's Finding Her Edge, I think we can all agree on one thing: that finale left us all feeling a little... disappointed. The tension, the unspoken words, and the unfinished business between the characters stayed with me long after I closed the book. That's why I decided to take matters into my own hands. This story is an unofficial continuation/alternative ending born from my own imagination. It picks up where the original left off, exploring the "what ifs" that the ending didn't address. DISCLAIMER!!! I do not own Finding Her Edge. All rights to the original plot, the world-building, and these beloved characters belong entirely to Jennifer Iacopelli. This is a work of fan fiction written out of love for the story she created. I am simply playing in her world and giving these characters the extra drama (and perhaps the closure) I felt they needed. Get ready. The ice is about to get a lot colder.
