The new semester opens with a bang that shocks the four Houses of QED University, an exclusive school for promising students of the science of deduction and art of detection. The Holmesian Harriet Harrison never thought that the day would come when their archnemesis Moriartian faction beat them in the House War. Her competitive attitude toward her class rival Morrie Moreno intensifies, each trying to outsmart and outmaneuver the other. But trouble does not stop there. The most charming Adlerian Aiden Alterra commits himself to a "secret mission" and starts pestering Harriet. The seemingly mute Wilhelmina Williams from the Watsonian faction also gets dragged along with the three in a string of mysterious incidents that will plague the university. Despite their dissenting motivations and unique personalities, the four will have no choice but to work together as a team toward one common goal and against one common enemy. The classes begin. Yshara Madriaga is traumatized due to a kidnapping incident during her 7th birthday, with that she's currently suffering psychogenic mutism, unable to speak makes it hard for her to tell what she really feels. She did not get much friends just like other teenagers do. Having a lot of connections and with her parents being one of the richest in the country, she was able to study in normal school just like other students at her age. In fact, she is the top student of her grade. DeAndre Villangco, one grade ahead of her, met her unexpectedly during a polo match. He got interested about her during the first meet that he cannot stop thinking about her. Not knowing why Yshara seems too distant around other people, he figured out himself and realized she doesn't speak at all. So he decided to study sign language for her, for him to hear her thoughts and build connections with her. He's in love with her and he believes he can wait forever until she says it back too.
