"You're bruised," the boy came up to him slowly. His calculated demeanor melted as he walked and for once, Jett saw the eighteen-year-old behind the princely mask he always hid behind. "It'll heal," he assured him. "You look a bit beat yourself." "I took it too far," he gently held his arm where the bruise was. Every touch left a tingling sensation. "I'm sorry. My father. He..." he trailed off. The brown eyes that Jett had quickly fallen for wandered off into the distance. Jett wished he could read them better. "What's the matter with your father?" "I don't want to talk about that," he shook his head. "Then what do you want to talk about?" "Us," those dark eyes met with his again, showing Jett something he hadn't seen before in him. "What about us?" Jett grinned. The boy caught him by surprise. He kissed him with a passion that Jett hadn't known he had. Oh Shiro, the next in line to the Reverence Pack. What was he going to do with him? *** BlackCreek was a beautiful city well-known for it's foggy weather, amazing scenery, and the werewolves that guard it. Four packs surround the city, but none compare to the mysterious Reverence Pack and their secretive ways. The only thing that sparks Jett's interest in them now is a new coming-of-age Alpha. The princely young man was as quiet as the forest that surrounded them. And he finds himself pulled to the man in a way he can't describe. Shiro's spent years preparing to take leadership of his pack. He trained both his body and mind to their greatest potential. He prepared for it all. Except for his mate being the Alpha of the Valor pack. Shiro was a master at keeping his secrets hidden to the world. But there was only so much time before the Alpha found out; before the news would spread. Only so much time before the curse took its toll on them. With so much against them, and secrets that most took to their grave, can a love between two Alphas be strong enough to last all the hate that's sure to follow? COMPLETED

"What the hell?" I took a step closer to the mirror, staring at my reflection in disbelief. The person looking back was still me, but at the same time it wasn't. I had the same thick, dark, curly hair. The same hazel eyes. The same olive skin with a light dusting of freckles (ugh) scattered across the bridge of my nose. But my curls were now streaked with highlights. And not the subtle, golden-brown ones that sometimes appeared during the summer. No, these were an aggressive, dazzling blond that went from the roots of my hair all the way to the tips. It looked like I had spent a full day getting my hair done in some upscale salon. Never mind that I had never set foot in such a place since the day I was born. My eyes appeared somehow wider and more luminous. The colour brighter, my eyelashes darker up against them. And, when I looked closely, my pupils seemed to be slitted almost like a cat. I looked down at my body. My skinny arms-which had always refused to gain any definition no matter how hard I exercised-were lined with flat, wiry muscles. My bony shoulders were now curved and smooth. My scrawny legs were toned like a dancer. I reached down and lifted my shirt, revealing two subtle lines running vertically down my perfectly flat stomach, hinting at the rock-hard abs underneath. My whole body was rippling with strength. Like liquid steel.

Being one of only two out gay students in a sometimes not-so-open-minded high school has presented Jackson Humes with certain challenges. Even though all teenagers' lives are challenging in their own ways, Jackson's takes a complicated turn the day he catches Alex Cole in the guy's locker room posing in front of a mirror wearing nothing but a pair of dingy tighty whities. While the rest of the school worries that the recent mountain lion sightings in the woods might have something to do with the star quarterback's disappearance, Jackson worries that Alex is going to rearrange his face in a manner that will make any attempts at future dating impossible. When an unhinged Alex corners Jackson in the woods, Jackson responds by miraculously breaking the laws of gravity. He soon realizes that his emerging superpower is connected to a dark secret, forcefully suppressed after the long ago deaths of all those involved, including Jackson's own parents. But secrets don't stay buried forever, as Jackson is about to discover.
