Missed Call is a Bennoda (Linkin Park) fanfiction based in modern day time. The story follows Mike who stumbles along a boy in his class that he doesn't really notice, Chester Bennington, who's being abused at home and bullied at school. After an incident on the last day of class, Mike gives Chester his phone number and can't seem to get the boy off his mind. Author's Note: I don't plan this story to be too long as I have other plans for a bunch of other stories but I'm definitely trying to reach for perfection with this story.

Chester Bennington, 21, is finally out of the institution where he stayed most of his life. The outside world is a scary place for the anxious young man, but soon enough, he finds someone he can be friends with, or at least he thinks so. Will Mike be able to bring Chester out of his shell?

chester finally had freedom. after five years in a ward, he managed to convince his psychologist that he was no longer a threat to himself. he meets a stranger in the mall, going by the name of mike, on the day of his release. after colliding with him at the entrance to the music store when the latter was in a rush to escape a large crowd in which chester assumed it was a fight, mike leaves with the elder's address and the intent to buy him a new phone after the stranger's six-year-old phone shattered at the very second it touched the floor. the issue is, he felt attracted to the elder after the whole endeavour, and after turning up to his house without an invite, mike finds chester beaten and bruised and the culprit was his very own father. ★ bennoda with benson side ★

Chester’s a nervous wreck. Mike is always in his thoughts. His band members are keeping secrets from him and Mike is gone. He can’t sleep at night. He’s an emotional hurricane. Chester is clearly reliving his past through his nightmares, but is unwilling to open up to the rest of the band. Uncomfortable and confused, he's unaware of the hurt he's bringing to himself.
