Y'all ready for a cheezy ass summary?! Because I'm not. ---- Basically it's a modern Hamilton/Jamilton AU (wow. much original). Thomas and Alexander are roommates and Thomas gets lung cancer and shit happens. John Laurens: A boy who has lived in South Carolina until he was ten. Homeschool until his senior year of high school. He was finally being enrolled at King's College after attending NYU for a year. He was never very social and only had a few friends. Not to mention he was gay. Alexander Hamilton: Orphan and Carribean immigrant. His father left at 10, his mom died at 12, and his cousin committed suicide at 17. He was on his own. Never went to school until he started his Sophomore year at King's College. For these two boys. (This book was going to be like super happy but my mind corrupted it)

19-year-old John Laurens has been in college for four days before his roommate shows up. When John introduces himself, the boy doesn't say a word. So when Laurens asks for his name, he raises a hand and signs "Alexander Hamilton." This surprises Laurens just a bit, because this boy didn't look like the kind to remain silent. He's seen those people before, and the boy in front of him looks like he has a lot to say. But what's keeping him from speaking his mind?

At first I want to say some things, I have no idea what I will be writing because well, I will just go with the flow and write what comes into my head. I do not have any previous writing experience if you don't count a few quick story's in school on my native language class. If you have a suggestion on what I could write in the next chapter feel free to comment it at the end of the previous chapter also I will NOT be writing smut at all. I personally do not like it so I will not write it. Also if you have a suggestion for the title I would love to hear it. Also I will probably not update very often so I will apologize for that already. I hope you can enjoy my little story here and please be ready for all the mistakes me and autocorrect have made because there's plenty of them. In it, Laurens works the night shift at a coffee shop (who knows if a 24 hour coffee shop exists, but in fiction, anything is possible), that Hamilton decides to go to when after he gets struck with writer's block. Alexander Hamilton thought taking an indenture in the Louisana Territory would lead to a better life than the one he had as an indentured clerk on St. Croix. He didn't expect to find that the world of New Orleans was much different than he'd been led to believe and that while he thought he was signing on for an indenture, his new master -- George Washington bought a slave. A slave that he's found he's more than a little attracted to. A slave he desperately tries to keep forgetting is the same age as the long dead bastard son he left behind in the Caribbean all those years ago. An AU where King George clamped down on the Committees of Correspondence the first time they assembled and didn't wait around for the Revolution to pick up steam. Instead the now exiled patriot leaders fled into Spanish New Orleans and started their lives over in a very different society from the Puritan one of the American colonies.
