A collection of rare and unsettling recordings from The Chetsnyk Radio, a nightly broadcast airing from 7 PM to 6 AM CST, reaching the ears of those awake in the mysterious city of Chetsnyk.
The city itself cannot be found on any map. Though thought to lie somewhere in Russia, all official claims of its existence are denied by the Russian government. Chetsnyk exists in isolation, surrounded by a pervasive Faraday field, its streets governed by the Central Government and patrolled by the Department of Nocturnal Safety and Protection.
The radio is hosted by the stoic yet caring Mikhael Sokrbacev, who guides listeners through nightly horrors and anomalies, with regular appearances by Gorvev Dovkan, head of the DNSP.
From 1978 to December 26, 1991, the station chronicled Chetsnyk's unusual events-mutated wildlife, deadly anomalies, strange fogs, and the whispers of the city itself-broadcasting warnings, stories, and testimonies to keep the remaining citizens safe through the long, perilous nights.
May the Night be good to all who look upon its darkness.
