The story follows the main character Elizabeth Bennet as she deals with issues of manners, upbringing, morality, education, and marriage in the society of the landed gentry of early 19th-century England. Elizabeth is the second of five daughters of a country gentleman living near the fictional town of Meryton in Hertfordshire, near London.

Imagine if the Bennets fell into debt. and the poor family had to do whatever it takes to survive. That includes Elizabeth Bennet taking a job as a maid in Mr. Darcy's mansion.

A modern day spin on the Jane Austen classic set in the Hamptons.

It's been 3 years since Lydia's infamous scandal. And in those 3 years Kitty has improved her behavior a great deal. Much to her families delight. When Lizzy and Mr. Darcy decide to bring her to London for a season she couldn't be more delighted. But before she goes she meets a mysterious man servant named Robert. Robert is rude and short with her and Kitty wouldn't mind never seeing him again. But when she finds out he is the right hand man to the proud, arrogant and quite rude Mr. Hawthorn, after said person pays a visit, she believes she understands why Robert was so short with her. But Robert is not everything he seems and is quite happy to keep Kitty in the dark. Meanwhile in London Mr. Hawthorn seems to be becoming more infatuated with Kitty at every meeting they have. Who will it be in the end? The mysterious man servant Robert or the proud and very sought after Mr Hawthorn? More importantly who would her family approve of? And would they trust her to make the right decision?

When Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy agrees to accompany his friend Charles Bingley to his new estate in Hertfordshire, neither man could have anticipated how it would affect their lives, particularly in the form of the lovely Jane and Elizabeth Bennet! But when pride, prejudice, and a meddlesome Caroline Bingley succeed in separating the two couples, Mr. Darcy's cousin, Lady Anne DeBourgh, decides to take matters into her own hands. This story is not for the Jane Austen purist, for although it has all of the original characters that we have come to love over the years, and it does include the main plot and story lines, it is called a variation for a reason, and will more often than not stray on some points and characteristics of the characters as it is from my own vision. Nonetheless it is strictly in old English, and will remain completely within the bounds of propriety!
