Ezra Bridger ist 17 Jahre alt und Mitglied der Phoenix-Staffel auf Atollon. Neben seinen Tätigkeiten als Rebell ist er auch Padawan von der ehemaligen Jedi Ahsoka Tano und ist häufig auf Missionen mit der Ex-Kopfgeldjägerin und Rebellin Ketsu Onyo unterwegs. Eines Tages trifft er zufällig auf dem Trainingsplatz auf die Mandalorianerin Sabine Wren, welche er nicht besonders leiden kann, was allerdings auf Gegenseitigkeit beruht. Wie es der Zufall so will, treffen sie sich auf einer späteren Mission wieder und Ezra muss sich eingestehen, dass er in Sabine möglicherweise mehr als nur eine Rivalin sieht...

Everyone has a past, whether it's good, or bad. It doesn't make it any better to lie about it. Ezra is reluctant to tell the truth and Sabine fears Ezra will hate her if she reveals her past to him. Will Ezra or Sabine confess their past and truth, or become broken by telling lies?
