Copyright © 2024. All Rights Reserved. In the world of feelings, they say the heart is a bit unpredictable, fluttering unexpectedly and swaying in moments when the mind can't keep up. Sa'adatu likes sticking to her routine, finding comfort in the usual. Change isn't her thing; she's happy with the way things are. But suddenly, a surprising shift comes knocking-a tough task that seems impossible to win. In this whimsical tale, Adnan Bayero shows up as a spark of hope, but Sa'adatu is unsure. After living in an illusion for too long, the reality she sees now is not what she imagined. Life, akin to the heart's capricious dance, unfolds with surprises. The avoidance of the unexpected might just be the resonating crescendo, orchestrating the whimsical ballet of the heart. By Ferdeausee_

Have you ever loved something to the extent that you could lie blatantly about it? In Jalilah's case, she had. She had loved ballet since she was a little girl, but being born from a northern Nigerian family, she had never got to be the ballerina she had always dreamed of. Did she let go of that dream? No, because she would lie for the sake of ballet, she would lie about being married so her mother could let her leave! Yazeed had never been choked up in a mess like this, but he had no choice but to stay mute and watch the drama unfold before his eyes. How would you feel to have a girl lie to her mother about you being her husband right before your eyes? They left, and she got what she had always been dreaming of. She knew she would love him someday, but she had never seen that day to be this close. What would she do? After knowing that their days together were numbered, she had to find another lie to tell her mother for them to find their separate ways. It got to the point that she couldn't pretend anymore, and she asked him the question. "Can I be your Mrs?" Yazeed had heard that question more than he cared to count, but she had never gotten an answer from him. Would he say yes and make her his lawful Mrs without her past life poking up? Or he would say no and live with the regret of not having her in his life? Which would be a topping to his already grieving soul.

"Sarauniya!" I said almost loudly but not enough for my friend Bilal to hear, "who is she?" "Aaliyah. She's the late Alhaji Mujib's daughter. " Bilal said seeming uninterested with the topic. "Ina gidan su?" I asked, sounding a bit like a crazy stalker. "Ka kamu da ciwon so ko?" He asked as a smile spreads across his face, "They live in Asokoro district. Remember Aunty Shamsiyya? The place isn't far from your habibty's home too." "Ok, thank you. Allah ya maka albarka." "Let me know when to be expecting an invitation card." Hamza said while trying to stifle his laughter but fails woefully and I smack him on his arm as payback, joining him to laugh too. I wanted to follow her and speak to her but I heard the music start, signaling the commencement of Bilal's cousin Nadiya and her groom; Saleem's overpriced dinner party for both families. #WattysNG2020 **** This is Aaliyah's story from grass to grace as she faces obstacles created by her aunt who has done nothing but torture her since her parents death. If you like books about players then this is just perfect for you. Two manipulative people in a world of lies and deception. Who'll play the other when both are players? BTW this isn't a sequel. I don't know what to call it. A spin-off maybe. I think it's more of a spin off though, because it centers on just Basma, Bashir, Bilal and his wife but again, it has a few other characters from Aaliyah to the World. ONCE A WATTPAD FEATURED STORY "It's time" The simple sentence could be interpreted in different ways. Time? The favorable and appropriate time to do something. To do what? Was the thing she was most scared of. No matter how hard she tried to form ignorance, she knew what that particular daunting sentence meant. Time to get married, not just any type of marriage, an arranged marriage. Every family has a tradition and the Garko family did too. Although traditions are different, theirs too was, a tad bit orthodox even. It was an arranged marriage and she was next.
