This is a short description of my dad's journey with Alzheimer's Disease. It chronicles the progression of the illness against the known stages of Alzheimer's. It is meant to honor his life and to tell you what living with a person with Alzheimer's or Dementia is like.

It seems that we all try to escape sometimes. We all try to rid ourselves of the tear jerking emotions that fill our minds. So when we find that thing that seems to numb the pain, we tend to rely on it so much, it becomes part of us. We tend to take it so much, it becomes an overdose.
