To lighten the mood, Roe and her friends plan a short trip to a nearby town - Wallflower's Deck which goes horribly wrong when two of her friends end in a hospital and one ends up missing. With guilt getting heavier, she decides to take the matter in her hands. Little does she know the Deck isn't all about rich human history, it is a home to Bhuraders - species capable of shifting into birds. When they find about Roe, they more than just desire to possess her for a reason unknown to her.
