Clementine has never been one to adapt to change. In the years since Lee took her in as his own, she has struggled to find a group of friends that she can call her own. However, with Lee's new job forcing them to move away from Macon, Clem's life is about to be flipped upside down, with the introduction of a person that will change her outlook on life. The story follows Clem through high school, starting off as a 17 year old girl, and follows her friendships, relationship troubles, revelations about her past, and old+new emotional trauma along the course of her journey in a new, unknown area.

A short story about a teen girl named Clementine, how her world changed drastically when she met the boy of her dreams. Her parents weren't around much to guide her, but luckily the babysitter Lee, was able to keep her in the right direction. But with all good things, comes the bad.

AJ whimpered, I continued to look at him and I could see him holding the axe steady and he raised it above his small little body, I closed my eyes and let my ears listen closely to hear the voices I longed to hear. My prayers were answered as from the roof above 'Clementine....' Louis gasped, my eyes flashed open and I saw AJ bringing down the axe. 'NO!' Louis screamed.
