FINISHED :) John Laurens has lived in South Carolina all his life. So far, nothing has changed. His town is still filled with the homophobic, racist people he's always been surrounded by, and not to mention his abusive father. Alexander Hamilton, a selective mute, has finally had enough. He leaves the Caribbean and moves in with his cousin Usnavi. So, little did John know, what's been the same for years was about to get flipped upside down, just because of one day and one silent boy.

john laurens and alexander hamilton have always hated each other. laurens hates how hamilton always gets the grade and is at the top of the class while he is miraculously passing his classes. but hamilton hates how laurens can always be himself, unafraid of being judged. when the two are assigned as roommates for their sophomore year of college, things happen.

John Laurens: A boy who has lived in South Carolina until he was ten. Homeschool until his senior year of high school. He was finally being enrolled at King's College after attending NYU for a year. He was never very social and only had a few friends. Not to mention he was gay. Alexander Hamilton: Orphan and Carribean immigrant. His father left at 10, his mom died at 12, and his cousin committed suicide at 17. He was on his own. Never went to school until he started his Sophomore year at King's College. For these two boys. Everything will change once they discover that they are roommates. How will this effect them? Story contains Lams, Mullette, a little Jeffmads, Thomgelica, Meggy, and other ships.
