They started small and after they graduated, they started to admit that they like each other and as the time flies by, they start to love each other. And then, they start to live in one place. The foster care system is definitely a hard thing for someone to live through especially when you're parents died and you know very little about yourself. The only thing Kaycee knows about herself is her name and that her parents are dead. Is there any possible way for a girl who has been through hell to find happiness in the world she thinks has turned on her? Maybe not. But she does find happiness in someone someone she never thought she would let in, Sean Lew

Is it possible for two teenagers to have such a cliche meet cute but not end up together? I would say no, but for Sean and Kaycee it may be a little more complicated.. There is a sequel to this book so go read "All those years ago"

Kaycee Rice and Sean Lew were soulmates..or they were supposed to be. When they were 15 and 16 years old they lived right next door..Kaycee saw him through the window and immediately thought he was cute. They met at a dance class and then they just hit it off..Sean then asked her to be his plus one for a party.. of course she said yes..the rest was history. Sean left without saying goodbye and ever since then they have never spoken. Now, 5 years later they barely remember each other but they do both wear their dog tags every day as a little memento. Kaycee got accepted into the University of Florida so she's moving away..just like Sean did. She had to choose between majoring in dance or acting..she has always wanted to be an actress but she's always danced. Acting..It was the right path ..and maybe it was the path to find her soulmate..again

"Kaycee this is Sean Lew. Sean, this is our good friend Kaycee Rice," Gabe says to me and Kaycee. "Um, hi," I say to her. Waving extremely awkwardly. Oh, Sean. Always making a fool of himself. "So, are you new here?" she asks. "Yeah, fresh from Walnut," I respond. Man, Kaycee Rice. Dance Sensation. Talking to me like a normal person. How do I act? What do I say?
