She didn't see the way the words left her mouth and took on a life of their own. Didn't feel the weight they carried as they traveled, fast and unforgiving, into the endless void of social media. Didn't know that miles away, in the quiet of a dimly lit room, Kim Chaewon was staring at her phone, watching the comment snowball into something so much worse than a simple joke.

Each night Y/N would start dreaming about her crushes at school. IVE was their name, the name that would spread like wildfire on campus and outside it. Y/N doesn't know how to stop the dreams. Does she hate the dreams? No... actually, yes...? It's pure frustration to her, what was she supposed to do when she could chat so peacefully with her crushes in her dreams without a fear of fainting but in real life she couldn't even say a simple "Hello"? . . .
