(Re-write in progress) Life was easy when you're a kid, one used to play, not have responsabilities, feel their emotions without explanation, and mostly just growing up and learning what you like to do and how you are. As you grow older, you start to realize that playing is a luxury, and working is an obligation, one of the few tragedies of growing up. Although many people would like to forget about it or ignore it, there's a time period in your life that doesn't force you to work, but if you don't you're called lazy and doesn't allow you to play, but if you don't they call you boring. This time of your life is called adolescence. And it's just as the name indicates: Painful. The story is a Re-write of mine, but the characters belong to Thomas Sanders and his team.

Virgil is a young musician, who did have a boyfriend, and Virgil loved him very dearly. But one day, his boyfriend left, as he begun to age when he met a barista at a coffee shop. Virgil has despised soulmates since. Patton is the boyfriend of a young lady, as he found he was half an inch taller a day after he met her. He tells his roommate of 3 weeks all about her. Logan moved to LA for his PhD, not at all looking for his soulmate. He's never been interested in love, as the longer he can stay on this earth, the more knowledge he can obtain, and knowledge is really all he cares about. They both were the outcasts of their school, the ones who were mocked and bullied. Though both were dealing with so much more outside of school. Logan, with abusive parents that seemed to hate him. And Virgil, dealing with a manipulative boyfriend who would hurt him if he didn't get his way. Will they be able to heal from their mental and physical pain, if only just a little?

(Soulmate au) (My friend wayward.tatertot on Instagram came up with this soulmate au so...follow her. She cool) When you're born, you have a tattoo of a flower. It can be on your arms, hands, or face. The tattoo is the favorite flower of your soulmate, a bouquet. When you meet your soulmate, the flowers becomes real, and you can gift it to your other half. Most flowers are on people's arms, I have mine on my face, free for the world to see. I have snow drops, creeping up the left side of my face, being the thickest around my cheek and thinning out along my hairline. One wrong turn and a pile of snowdrops fall into my hands. An unbelievably full group of amaryllises fall into the hands of the person adjacent to me. It's him. (This is an au, please don't comment about similar features or anything like that. World where you are born with a jewel pendant around your neck. This pendant changes color based off of the mood of your soulmate. Upon first contact with your soulmate both pendants will glow a bright pink. Logan never liked the idea of soulmates, or even emotions for that matter, so he takes the pendant as a challenge and tries to use his advanced mind to try and find his supposed "soulmate". The black stain on your body is supposed to bring you to your eternal partner, or soulmate. It symbolizes where this person will touch you on your body when you meet for the first time. Unfortunately, Virgil has always been bullied for the black stain permanently stuck on his lips. It has brought him nothing but teasing and pain throughout his life. Others assume it is black lipstick at first, and then become aware it never comes off. This new information causes rumors to spread. Roman has always hidden the black stain that is barely visible on the palm of his hand. He has let only his closest friends see it. It too has brought suffering to him. A mark so light on easy to reach places like hands or arms usually means you'll brush past your soulmate in a crowd. For those stuck with this curse, they often times never meet the one meant for them. Patton has rarely ever seen his stain. The only reason he knew it existed was from infancy. His parents had told him it was on the top of his head in the shape of a hand. However, the bubbly male looses faith as he has never seen his own mark and doubts his soulmate would even realize it if they touched. Logan has never been good at emotions or understanding them. During the better part of his life, he worried about maintaining a healthy and fulfilling life. But he feels something is missing, or rather, someone. As he matures, Logan begins to worry that the stain covering his entire palm would turn out to be him physically harming his soulmate. Along with that comes the fear of missing his partner. It was his dominant hand, after all. He did everything with it.
