Zelda thought that things would have returned to normal between her and Link, but Hyrule's hero seems to carry a burden in these peaceful times. After being forced back together after an unanticipated attack on Hyrule Castle, Link and Zelda thought that the torment was finally over. However, when Link finds himself in the position of the Hero a second time, he is reminded of the truth. It is endless.

Zelda and Link, Link and Zelda. It's a classic story about a hero and a damsel in distress. Love, friendship, adventure, it's all there. All you need to do is dive in. Go on. I dare you. (:

"Link, you are the light -our light- that must shine upon Hyrule once again." When Link wakes after one hundred years of slumber and no recollection of the past, he must struggle to remember who he is. Author's note: My version on Fanfiction is a little different than the norm. I find myself more interested in what's already there rather than creating all new material. When I initially began writing this, it was basically Breath of the Wild through Link's POV. Although I quickly found myself bored writing the whole story and wanting to focus solely on the memory flashbacks. So this fanfic is just that. It follows Links memories in chronological order. (Although this contains a bit of edited and new material to strengthen Link and Zelda's bond.) I've always wanted to write through Link's perspective. The idea has always been fascinating to me because he's just so stoic and quiet. So that begs the questions: what is he thinking, what is he feeling? I'd like to shine a little light on the situation. :)
