Tracy is a young woman from Seattle. She works in a record store by day and is a photographer by night, capturing the blooming Seattle music scene in her photos. Until one day a young, mysterious singer named Eddie Vedder, arrives in Seattle as the new singer for Tracy's friends' band and turns her life upside down. Following the death of Andy Wood, Seattle's alternative music scene is left grieving. Knowing they have friends who will support them no matter what, Stone sets out to start up a new band, convincing Jeff to join in the process. After getting together with a lead guitarist and a temporary drummer, all they need now is a singer. Finding a match in a man living in San Diego who they met through a mutual friend, they decide that he's the one for them. The Californian moves up to Seattle to join the band, and becomes a part of their world. He's warmly welcomed by the people, and in particular, a young woman with curly hair and a camera, who seems to draw him in.
