The school knows Ezra as the mysterious badass who always speaks her mind, but the truth is that she is barely holding on. She is forced to work long hours to support herself and her depressed mother and just wants to be reassured and loved by someone. Avery is the smart quiet girl in the back of the class who is way to awkward to talk to anyone other than her best friend, Ally. She hates being called the innocent and sweet girl, she longs to be taken seriously and to one day stop being so afraid to show confidence. What happens when Ezra starts failing Chemistry and is forced to have a tutor who constantly drives her crazy? Will Ezra finally feel like she is being understood and let her guards down? Will Avery be able to build her self-confidence hanging out with Ezra? Will these two fall in love? You can figure it all out if you read this book. After a traumatic experience at age 6, Peter Parker hasn't spoken a word. Most blame it on the fact that he witnessed his Uncle die in a horrible fire, this is only partly true. Now, almost 10 years later Peter is given the chance to finally speak, but will he take it? Or is the fear of his Aunt to much for him to take that chance? Either way, Tony Stark can tell something's not quite right about the "kind hearted" May Parker. (Don't get me wrong I love Aunt May! But I always wondered what if we put a little darkness in the character? That's where this AU was born. Peter's life as Spider-Man wasn't easy before and now with a manipulative and abusive guardian, things only get more complicated but he's still determined to listen to his uncles words: "With great power comes great responsibility) [Book 1 of The Broken Nor Series] [Book 2: Octo Callidus Debitum]

"Trouble is my middle name." ~ Lillian Nightshade is a metaphorical rock in SHIELD's boot, one that not only has a mouth snarkier and more sarcastic than the hypothetical (and entirely impossible) baby of Tony Stark and Deadpool, but has a certain knack for slipping from the authorities' grasp on a regular basis. She's arrogant, she's witty, she's satirical, she's immature and she's one of the best damn assassins in the industry. Steve Rogers is the hero every man wants to be. He has a strong sense of duty, honour, dignity and humility, with old fashioned, idealistic goals that would make the world a better place. Some - namely Stark - would call him a stick in the mud and make a mockery of him by pinning him with obscene names like 'Fourth of July Stripper' or 'Walking Flagpole', but in the end, he's America's sweetheart with a golden legacy that will last for generations. So it's only natural that the two complete opposites - who are also each other's enemies- to clash the moment they meet one another, yes? Filled with action, revenge, old adversaries, humour and of course the lovely drizzle of a bipolar romance, this is the story of how a narcissistic assassin falls for one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Her enemy.
