This book will hopefully be out March of 2020 if not sooner than that. We all have those one or two best friends that we consider our sisters but what about five? Too high of a number for you? These girls have been best friends since childhood. Fought together, laughed together, cried together, even went to jail together. Through all of theirs ups and downs they stuck together, never left each other's side. But they aren't in high school anymore, they're married, divorced, mothers, aunts, in relationships, being cheated on, and being the cheaters. Each of them have a different situation going on in their life and more problems just keep getting thrown at them. Each of these ladies are going absolutely insane with everything that's going on in their lives, maybe they just need a little girl y'all? * This is one of my older books from when I was younger around the age of 17, and that kind of reflects in the writing so read at your own discretion. My writing has matured along with my age and there are other newer/updated books on my page🫶🏾

Pain is constantly letting others rip you open and put tape over the broken pieces. Pain is crying because you are afraid of the dangerous cycle of love you have been shown. Pain is forgiving, even though you know it'll happen again. Pain soon dulls itself and transforms into love. A toxic love cycle that you are afraid to let go of because you are used to it. Love is taking that pain and pushing it aside to make others comfortable. Love is continuing to be vulnerable even when you are hurt. Love is forgiving and trying to forget. Love is pains antagonist, The ranting of a broken soul taped together almost perfectly... or so they thought.

Astrid Knight was the definition of cold. Preferring to stay in shadows, she had managed to successfully avoid any life-threatening incidents. Fending for herself was hard when she was a minor, forcing her to work on the other side of the law. After an Arson gone wrong, she ended up in the home of the Italian Mafia- her supposed family. Men wanting to build their stolen relationships, a boy getting under her skin and a ghost from the past wanting to team up with her, Astrid didn't have any other choice but to go with the flow. Watch Astrid navigate her way through a mission of taking down a ghost of her past as she juggles love, family and betrayal. Not an incest . More of a romance-adventure TW: violence, swearing, mature scenes. Rewriting [29]

*please I wrote this story at 16/17. I'm 28 and I crying because I would rewrite this in a heartbeat especially coz I sound crazy* so read with caution* I fell in love. I fell in love with a fairytale. Oh Yes I did. You know that one story that gives every little girl hope out there that good things comes to those who wait even in rare but simple gems like a glass slipper. This hope carried me far and beyond. It's a fairytale that is relatable to any prospect of life. There will be your evil stepmother and evil stepsisters, your fairy godmother and your one true prince. It is a fairytale that understands the element of surprise: That what we seek can sometimes appear right in front of us without knocking on our doors. Most especially, it's a fairytale that understand the importance of love: A true prince may not come in shape of perfection but regardless of the imperfections and flaws, he would still remain perfect in your eyes. Regardless of its flaws, Africa was my father and Nigeria was my prince. Africa was my birthplace, born to the greatest warriors on the planet: Shaka Zulu, Nelson Mandela, Cleopatra, Kofi Annan even Didier Drogba the famous footballer. Most especially it was my home. It was the place I learnt to walk, talk, run and now 200000 feet above the ground I look down at my home. Little lights flickering everywhere like fireflies contrasting with the dark night. Maybe one day I will come back to my father. My prince. My Ile.
