Even the most uneducated can have a mind for adventure - especially when it comes to saving the world. A man with a tie is discovered outside the limits of a dried-up settlement in the middle of nowhere, bearing a plague that was long thought to be contained behind the walls of Ban-Ken. When Master Drew Hughes discovers that the man intends to spread the disease beyond the great city, it is up to the private alcoholic and a loud-mouthed orphan, Alyn Smythy, to brave the city's walls and put a stop to the man-made plague before its power falls into the wrong hands. Book one of two. [BOUND FOR EXTENSIVE REWRITES IN NOVEMBER!] If you are triggered by suicide mentions, probably about three suggestions of it crop up total in this book. GRAPHICS AND ART DETAILS: Font in chapter banners: https://www.dafont.com/queen.font Fonts in cover image: https://www.dafont.com/queen.font and https://www.dafont.com/the-circus-show.font Art in both is by me; though some of the black silhouettes in the banner (skeleton, horse, wagon, two trash piles) are vectors from the net. ***Reviews Closed Indefinetly*** Looking for a good book to read or want to know just how good yours is? You've come to the right place. Using my own patented rating system, based on the unforgiving and brutal grading standards in German law school, I will analyze your story and write a review. If you are looking for someone to stroke your ego, go away. If you're looking for a serious and professional deconstruction of your work, please proceed. If you are not a writer, feel free to browse the selection of reviews, knowing that every single point of the number behind that books name had to be earned with sweat, tears and probably blood magic. If you're interested, read the first chapter to find out how this whole thing works. I'm looking forward to your story!
