Charlotte Everley and her best friend had a tradition. Every summer on June 26th, they call one number--one random number of the same area code, purely for entertainment. When Charlotte's best friend Stella found love with the help of their 'tradition', she added another reason. To find Charlotte a boyfriend. After three years of endless match ups, set ups, blind dates. and not to mention two calls to, thankfully, female receivers, the summer of eleventh grade comes rolling by, and so does the fateful day of June 26th. The only difference is that, this time, the stranger behind the phone is most definitely male. And the president's eighteen year old son.

"Go out with me." "Why?" I asked skeptically. He shrugged. "You're bad, I'm bad; we're meant to be together." I raised my brow. "I though bad boys fell for good girls?" "Myth." "How about we test that theory?" I proposed with a smirk.

Kelsey Rogers lives and breathes ice hockey. She grew up with a father and brother who both played, and from them she gained a fierce passion for the sport. When her father’s company relocates him, Kelsey must leave her team behind, only to find out that there is no girls’ team where she now lives. Instead of giving up on the sport she loves, Kelsey fights her way onto the local boys’ travel team. However, the difficulty doesn’t stop there. Kelsey has to deal with boys telling her she plays a boys’ sport and that she isn’t as good because of being a girl. Kelsey isn’t one to back down from a challenge, so instead of quitting, she vows to prove that a girl can play ice hockey. Enter Dane Young. He’s the captain of Kelsey’s new team, and one of the major reasons she made it. Despite that, though, Dane is probably harder on her than the team’s coach. To Kelsey, it’s as if he wants to see her fail. Kelsey is determined not to let that happen.

***A WATTPAD FEATURED NOVEL Dec 1st, 2015*** EVA TURNER's a single-mom in witness protection hoping to start over and establish lifelong roots on Haven Island. But things get complicated when her small-scale photography business goes viral. MARSHALL DAVIES is a world-weary investigative journalist (suffering PTSD) with his eye on a coveted promotion that will get him out of the field (and line of fire). He's exposed terrorists and slippery politicians; a single-mother should be child's play. While passion blooms, and her past closes in, Eva has to somehow elude the spotlight (and charismatic Marshall) or risk losing not only her new life/identity, but custody of her girls. OUT OF FOCUS was a Top 10 finalist in Harlequin's So You Think You Can Write contest for 2015 . In January 2016, RT Book Reviews deemed OOF as one of the Top 3 books on Wattpad and an excerpt was also recently featured in Cosmopolitan's online magazine.(February 2016). *** Dedicated to anyone who is or has walked in Eva's shoes. I hope you've found your Haven. (And Marshall!!) :) All rights belong to the author and no reproductions are allowed without express permission from @FallonDeMornay. He asked. I clapped my hands together and sighed. "To go home." His face instantly fell. He walked right into that one. "Well that sucks because you aren't going anywhere, kitten." I growled lowly at the nickname and crossed my arms. "Who says?" I argued. "I just did. Now stop acting like a brat and tell me what the hell you want to eat," he said frustrated. I rolled my eyes and turned around to exit the room. "Where the hell are you going?" He yelled at me. I stopped and turned around to look at him. "I don't want to have any food prepared by you. You're hands are probably just as dirty as your mouth. Watch your language," I stated simply and exited the kitchen. ________________________________________ © All Rights Reserved 2014
