Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare early in his career about two young star-crossed lovers whose deaths ultimately reconcile their feuding families. It was among Shakespeare's most popular plays during his lifetime and along with Hamlet, is one of his most frequently performed plays. College student Cara Sanders has lived a tough life but keeps her head up all the same. One night at a bar, Cara and Vic Fuentes meet on unlikely terms. Vic is immediately interested in this girl, but Cara isn't so sure. She hasn't let a boy near her since the incident with her alcoholic of a father. Now, falling for Vic in ways she couldn't imagine, she is faced with her worst fear: her abusive father has been released from prison, and is looking for her and her mother.
