Camille Settlemeyer's life revolves around two great natural wonders: Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth, and Matt Everest, the boy she's been in love with ever since they met at rock climbing camp five years ago. She might have to wait a few more years before her parents let her fly off to Nepal to scale the world's tallest summit, but this summer Camille's going to hit the road with Matt for one last climbing expedition before they part ways for college. Camille is convinced that a couple days alone with Matt in a beat-up van will make him realize they're destined to be together. What she doesn't account for is Matt bringing along his best friend from climbing camp, Tucker O'Hara, who possess an encyclopedic knowledge of the constellations and a sense of humor drier than the sprawling Arizona desert. Camille doesn't like how much of a know-it-all Tuck is, or how his gorgeous older sister seems to steal every last bit of Matt's attention. But Camille's about to learn that even the best climbers need a compass sometimes. (Commission for Wattpad's promotion of the film "The Best of Me")

"This is Westerden Optometrist. What are your symptoms?" "For starters, my eyesight has been super blurry and distorted, and this problem is starting to screw up seventeen-year-old life. Speaking of which, you sound kind of young for an optometrist. How old are you?" "Um, I don't think it'd be the greatest idea for that blurry eyesight of yours to be treated by a guy your own age." The human heart is an abyss. Through tunnels, and chambers, the organ beats and the world, in each persons life, continues to churn. With that heart, life is a reality. But, every so often, exceptions have to be made. Every so often a heart breaks, truly breaks, and all the pieces of life and reality become a haze. That heart is beating, but only sustaining. There is only one cure, one remedy- one antidote. That is love. ... There is nothing like the search for the perfect story. For Josephine Taylor, head journalist in a bustling Seattle magazine, where jobs are fought, not won, Aidan Hughes is that story...the story that will combine both truth and intrigue. Plagued by tragedy, the handsome photographer has secluded himself to a remote town, denying anyone who seeks to exploit him. For Josephine, Aidan Hughes is a jackpot of mystery, the perfect subject to propel her career into it's highest form. Like all the others, he intends to send her away. But, when a storm blows in, trapping them in his family estate, concessions will be made... Deep, dark secrets will be revealed... And unwilling hearts will be touched.

Yasmin used to love living on an apple orchard with her family. She loved going out into the orchard in the mornings to pick the apples with her family, running around with her brother and their dog while her mom and dad would sneak kisses behind the trees when they thought nobody was looking. When Yasmin was twelve, however, everything changed. Her mother died and then, slowly, so did all of the apple trees. As the trees started to lose their leaves and shrivel up, she watched her dad cure his broken heart with whiskey. She watched her brother turn into somebody unrecognizable. As the apples died, so did her family. Even now, at eighteen, Yasmin lives with a dreadful sense of hopelessness in her small town with her twisted family and their stupid yet lovable dog. No way up, no way out. Yasmin is stuck. Until, of course, she meets Dex and he accidentally starts to change everything.
