The bards will sing of the adventures of Sawain for centuries to come. This is the first novel I ever published, and as such, is not as good as I believe it can be now that I have more experience. There are two sides to life in my view, the sharp and the blunt. This book is a collection of poems about the BLUNT EDGES that people try to avoid on a daily basis. We tend to focus on the SHARPER SIDE of the blade because it talks about the kind of people we strive to become. What we are good at. It tells us more about the victories we have achieved and the glory and adoration everyone secretly craves. In most cases, we pretend that the BLUNT EDGES do not exist, because it reveals the things we could have done and the kind of people we could have become. It highlights our past mistakes and it also brings the real bitter truth to light. Whether we like it or not, the BLUNT EDGES and the SHARPER SIDE are forced to coexist, like LIGHT and DARKNESS. Failing to acknowledge the existence of the BLUNT EDGES won't make things any better.
