Shubman doesn't. Now they're mad at each other and Shubman tries dating a woman. And inevitably breaks up with her. Abhishek is stuck listening to Shubman and Ishan's mad rants and heartbroken rants anyway. ~~~ Girls ~~~ Ishan's therapist Kesha refers Shubman to her colleague/friend Simi. Alisha rants to her cousin Riya (who also happens to be Simi's best friend) about how the arrogant famous guy ghosted her. Riya spies, connects the dots and wheedles Simi out of her ethics and they go hunting for the common link between Shubman and Ishan to ask a very important question: Has Abhishek heard of lavender marriages? Or does he need a higher altitude to know about them? And who better for lavenderly marrying a spineless donkey than an ace and Shubish advocate?

"Why steal brooms when you can steal a groom?" ~Sir Jadeja ~~~2023~~~ The ICT is tired of Shubman and Ishan's blindness and absolute inability to see what EVERYONE ELSE can: they're not *just best friends* who spend every moment of the day together, pine if they don't meet for three days and smile at each other all the damn time, they're *soulmates*, or rather, *visually impaired soulmates*. ~~~2027~~~ Suddenly Ishan wakes up four years later to a Bhojpuri song and Rishabh tells him that it's Shubman's wedding. Ishan doesn't remember when that happened. But yes. The ring, the fancy clothes, the family drama...everything's here. Shubman's getting married... and Ishan doesn't like it. But his team's right here to jump in to his rescue, steal a groom, and do everything...only the ICT can do.

An au where Shubhman falls first and Ishan falls harder. ...afterall, hiding the fact that you are crushing over your roommate can't be that bad right? ...Right?

After winning the 2025 IPL title, Abhishek and Ishan go touring Hyderabad together. "What are you saying?" Ishan asks, hardly daring to believe what Shubman's words suggested. "Why, you don't want to?" Shubman's teasing hand reaches for under ishan's shirt. Ishan jerks back with surprise, causing his lips to brush against Shubman's neck. Shubman closes his eyes, says slowly, "Don't tell me you don't feel this too," he presses his thumb against Ishan's lower lip softly, so gentle that Ishan barely feels the touch.

"Don't give me those eyes unless you want me to ruin you, inch by inch." It all started with one sinful dream. A dream that has been haunting Ishan for the past 4 months. A stupid dream that made him question the boundaries of his friendship with Shubman. Somewhere between their text messages, their phone calls, their jokes, their laughter, their talks... Ishan fell for Shubman. Each interaction with Shubman became a delicate balance between hiding his feelings and letting them slip through the cracks.
