Ever wondered what would happen when the worlds of Throne of Glass and A Court of Thorns and Roses collide? Well, here I am, writing a short series in which the characters meet and have to overcome cultural barriers. For decades, Aelin Ashryver Galathynius and Rowan Whitethorn have ruled the Kingdom of Doranelle, passing the governance of Terrasen to her cousin, Aedion, and his descendants. Since her defeat of Queen Maeve more than 100 years ago, Aelin has lived in relative peace, until nightmare-like prophecies of an unknown threat begin to plague her dreams. Feyre and Rhysand defeated the King of Hybern several years ago. Prythian has thrived under the semi-cooperative leadership of the seven High Lords (and one High Lady), but a dark force has been gathering to the West, and as events transpire, it becomes more and more clear that a long lost prophecy must be fulfilled before Prythian can finally be at peace once more. Aidan Meara Ashryver Havilliard has been groomed since childhood to inherit the throne of Adarlan, but at the age of sixteen, she is both sickly and frail, wasting away from an illness that no healer in Erilea has been able to diagnose. When an aunt, long thought dead, resurfaces with information that offers an answer to the disease as well as information about threats to the South, Aidan must make a decision that could affect not only Adarlan or even Erilea but two entirely different worlds.
