Chase Parker tried to kill himself at midnight last night. His attempt failed **** Ronnie Harper; the seventeen year old with an attitude and tongue as sharp as the blades on her ice skates Chase Parker; the suicidal eighteen year old hockey player with a death wish. After rumors of Chase trying to kill himself spread around the school, the last thing Ronnie wants to do is work with the depressed Class-A pessimist on a psychology project. With secrets lying under the surface of the ice, both teens find that maybe they aren't as different as they once thought and Ronnie may be the only one able to keep Chase alive.
