This is a short story that follows and focuses on Bella before she met Cleo and Rikki. This is a prequel (meaning her backstory) life growing up in her hometown and how she dealt with being the "only mermaid" this short story will show all the challenges Bella had to face alone. Most of the story will take place a year before she moves to Australia. But there'll be flashbacks from when she first got her tail.
