Winter. A time of year the newsboys of New York City wish they skip over. It got cold- real cold. Newsies all over would start showing signs of sickness within the first weeks of winter. Not as many people are out on the streets, which means not as many people are there to buy papes. Money gets scarce and it's not like any of them can afford a winter coat. Wintertime is chaotic enough as it is, but when you're a newsboy trying to juggle a forbidden relationship, the death of many friends, and the return of a psychotic family member? Yeah, things can get a little... destructive. Story length: 27,730 ------------------------------ THERE IS A BREAKDOWN OF THE MOVIE VS MUSICAL AT THE VERY END WHERE I JUST DISSECT THE MOVIE AND WHATNOT. IT DOESN'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO ME WHETHER OR NOT YOU READ IT, I JUST WANTED TO PUT IT OUT THERE. I just can't decide which is better, but for some characters I can only see them as the 1992 version or the broadway version. - Main difference: The relationship is going to be Jack and Katherine, meaning that neither Sarah nor Denton exist.
