Abby decides to take a stroll along Gotham in the middle of the night when the Joker decides to pay her a visit claiming he's her father. Abby never knew who her parents really were but never imagined a criminal lunatic would be rested to her in any way. Of course Robin saves her and a new friendship starts to grow. But their feelings towards each other grow deeper than they thought. With the Joker constantly going after Abby, will she ever be safe? And will Robin be able to keep his identity a secret and still be with Abby?

Violently and realistically compelling, The Joker and The Damsels That Cause Distress, is fun packed with all of Gotham's Finest. The characters and their back stories sneak up on you. The more you read the more you are surprised and pleased with the outcome. Whether you are a Gotham fan or not this story will entice you till the very end. A story that is a little rough around the edges, but frightfully delicious. I cannot wait to read more of this ongoing series. ~Watty.

Just because I'm telling you this story, doesn't mean I'm alive at the end of it. It's that kind of a story, where things just got so out of control... Things happen, and sometimes there's nothing that can be done to stop them. Sometimes, it feels like you've been dealt the bad card. Like you've been cursed. But you have to keep moving and remember that tomorrow is a new day. The curse could be some kind of blessing, and even if it isn't, it probably isn't as bad as it seems. Trust me, I've learned that the hard way. Because every morning as the sun rises, when that Nightingale sings, it can bring hope for a better tomorrow. But even I don't know how this story ends yet. Let's just hope that I'm not alive at the end of it. Because I HAVE been given a curse, and there's no up side to it.
