As the door is pushed open, the thunderous roar of the crowd fills Dabi's ears and he fights back the need to roll his eyes. Through the darkness of the night, he sees flashes of cameras and chants of racers' names. He's only here to bring down his father's team and he couldn't care less about adoring fans with stars in their eyes. He's here for victory and victory only.

Finally achieving his goal in taking down Endeavor, Dabi shifts his attention to the remaining top ten heroes. With Hawks helping him dismantle The Commission from the inside out, there will be nothing left but ash in their wake. In the end- Hawks' hands are as bloodied as everyone else's and since he crossed that line, there's no turning back for him. Try as he might, in the end- he's nothing but a cold blooded murder. At this, he does allow a sly smile to creep along the edges of his lips. Shigaraki and the newly banded Paranormal Liberation Front may only have eyes for utter destruction and terror but Dabi is only vested in two things. One, dismantle and tear apart the top ten heroes from the inside out and two, to see how far Hawks can bend before he shatters. Luckily for Dabi, those two new goals for him will go hand in hand.

Dabi closes his eyes and drowns out his self depreciating thoughts with another drag of his cigarette. Cursing to himself, he extinguishes the cigarette and curls into himself, ignoring the uncomfortable tug of the stitches in his back. Through the darkness of his room, an alarm rings and he throws his phone across the room. "Happy birthday to me." Dabi mutters.

With Endeavor dead, he decided on an early retirement- his life goal finally achieved. Dabi stands in front of the mirror of his white room and studies himself silently. Over time, he's gained a healthy amount of weight and actually has the time to sit back and take care of his scars. Even though he looks into the mirror everyday, he still feels like a stranger in his own skin. With his staples gone and his scars now faded to a muted purple, he can't recognize the person staring back at him. Dabi tentatively reaches a shaking hand up and touches the flaming red that's starting to peek over his dyed black hair. "Don't know what you're worried about, hot stuff. You're looking better than ever!" His turquoise eyes shift to see Hawks leaning against a wall with a lopsided smile. Dabi frowns at the hero and Hawks laughs. "Oh come on! I actually don't wanna upchuck when I look at you now," Hawks pauses and studies Dabi's frown while tilting his head- his own grin falters slightly. "I was just joking, y'know. Don't take it personally."

Hawks also reminds himself that this is Dabi, if there's one thing that anyone has to know about Dabi it's that he does what he wants and doesn't exactly care about the repercussions. Not that Hawks really minds; he's always liked playing with fire.
