Adrien had only ever shown his mother his wings. With his modeling, he was forbidden by his father to show them to anybody. His homeschooling helped with this because he never had any friends to show them to anyway. He has vivid memories of his mother holding him in her arms as she wrapped her wings around them both. After Adrien's mother disappeared a year ago, he could only sleep if he wrapped his wings around himself. He always despised his father for the rule he placed on him, but now he is grateful. Why? Because he's Chat Noir, and no one can know his identity. Marinette had always felt indifferent about her wings, not caring much for hers. She had heard the horror stories of people loosing their soulmates and finding out because others had recognised the wing patterns. So she made a silent pact to herself; she wouldn't show her wings until absolutely neccisary. She didn't want to expose herself and be let down. At times, she wished she hadn't made that pact on herself, but now she is grateful. Why? Because she's Ladybug, and no one can know her identity. Not even eachother. •●• Hi!
