HEY! I adopted this story from @IbbyBird !!! He deleted the original, but inside is my best summarizing of it! Here's the OG summary: The Giant War didn't end the way it was supposed to. Oh, don't worry, the demigods won of course - but at a price. With the Seven gone, Nico di Angelo and Thalia Grace were the last children of the Big Three. Campers looked to them for guidance - that is, until Thalia is killed in the Hunt. Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter alike didn't take their losses well, and took it out on the only person they could think of: Nico, the creepy Son of Hades. Two years later, Nico has long since left the miniature hell called Camp and is traveling around the world with his boyfriend, Will. Completing Quests and fixing relationships with their families was their aim for the next few years - but then Nico was offered Godhood , and Will was suddenly the Guardian of the Hunt. For their next quests as immortals, Nico and Will are sent undercover by Hecate and Apollo into a magical school to defeat 'Lord Voldemort' before he starts a War, essentially nipping the problem in the bud. It wouldn't be easy, though. Of course not. Life is never easy with a certain trio around... *During Goblet of Fire* ((This story is on! Temporary! Hiatus. I ran out of Writing Juice for this particular story, so I'm gonna force myself through a good few chapters once I've hit winter break, and then she should be up and running again. But make no mistake: i am NOT, i repeat, N O T, abandoning this fic! I just need some time to plow through my writer's block!))

The man in front of me gave me a lopsided smirk, "Feisty. I like that." I rolled my eyes, sipped my drink and narrowed my eyes at the bartender, "Shouldn't you be doing your job?" "There's other things I could be doing," he responded with a wink. He started pouring another drink, "Got a name?" "Audrey." The man gave me a wicked grin, "I'm Nathan." Carly Atwood always remembered the man that used to live in the loft above the barn when she was a little girl. John was her childhood crush, he was the guy she wrote about in her diary, and when he left her in his army greens, he was the first man she ever cried for. Nine years later, Carly isn't the eleven year-old girl John left behind. She grew up and moved on with her life, taking over the Atwood Ranch following her father's death. John isn't the man he used to be either; physically and emotionally scarred following his last deployment in Afghanistan, John is returning to the only place he ever called home, back to the loft above the barn and to the pretty blonde girl that's been holding onto his dog tags for all these years. ----- Title inspired by the song of the same name by Tim McGraw.
