After Markus led the Androids to victory and freedom in the revolution, humans began to work alongside them. Some still hated the idea of working with Androids while others we more than happy to have them as equals. Cyberlife didn't stop making new models, though, and the Detroit Police Department hired the newest model. The RK900 was tested and redesigned multiple times and finally, the new "self-aware" female Android is assigned to partner with Detective Gavin Reed. Upon working with him, she meets Connor and Hank, two people Gavin dislikes. Will she be able to soften Gavin's stone heart and become more than his colleague? Or will her new friendship with Connor push him away?

It's been a month since the Android Revolution shook America. Androids are finally receiving the rights and equality they deserve and everything is starting to look positive for them, especially Connor. He has his best friend, Lt. Hank Anderson, and a good job as Hank's partner. When Hank is killed during a mission in December, everything starts to fall apart for Connor. When Connor loses his only family and his work partner, he's assigned to work with Detective Gavin Reed and the latest model Cyberlife released, RK900, or Conan, as he prefers to be called. Gavin Reed is not a fan of Androids. He never has been and he never intended to be, but when he becomes partners with Connor, he sees a side of him he never knew existed...one that he understands all too well. Can he work with the two Androids when a new threat arrives in Detroit? One that will take trust, hardwork, and effort to defeat?
