We all knew this was the end. We've seen the movies, and read the books. Once the ship shows up, that marks the beginning of the end. Now of course in movies we always have a scrappy little group that manages to defy all the odds and find a way to stop the intruders to our planet in the nick of time, but real life just doesn't work that way. In real life, the aliens show up, the people die. That was a fact. We knew this was the event that would end us, our extinction was upon us. What I hadn't expected, was to survive it....

In a world where you're defined by class can anything else exist? "At the age of 16, each male and female must attend the earliest 'Summoning'. From there the ideal match is generated for each individual in a process known as the 'Sorting'. Once a pair have been matched, they will reside to the male's dwelling to live out their lives in harmony. Society is based on a class system and the number of a particular caste branded on the left shoulder of each human. The caste system is rated from 1 to 5. Elle Silver is a 3. As is her twin sister, her mother and her father. On her 16th birthday, Elle and her sister Ana are summoned. Hoping to follow in the footsteps of her mother and father, Elle is anxious to find out who her match is and the caste he is from. Because as the her mother has always said: 'You would hope for your sake that you're not matched to a 1 or a 5.' Stereotypes are often accurate but occasionally they can be more wrong then you'll ever understand.

It's just an ordinary in Camelot…well as normal as things get around here. Arthur and Merlin are out on a hunting trip by themselves and all seems well…until they are ambushed by a group of Morgana's men. The duo are separated, Arthur just escaping, but Merlin being caught. They take him back to Morgana, where she proceeds to torture him by twisting his memories. Every happy moment, every sad moment, every moment ever spent between Arthur and Merlin is twisted in Merlin's mind, causing him to believe that Arthur wants him dead. Eager to see Arthur's reaction, she lets Merlin go, making it seem that he escaped. When a search patrol finds him stumbling, weak, in the Valley of the Fallen Kings they approach him delightedly, glad to see he's safe. But when they learn the truth will things ever be the same between Merlin and Arthur again, or will he fear Arthur forevermore?

Guess what guys.. THIS IS ANOTHER PRINCE MERLIN AU. Merlin is a prince of a fallen kingdom that was overthrown by a traitor within its mists, having been sent to Camelot almost immediately after the fall, sent into hiding for his own protection. When word comes to Camelot that several Knights from a far off land will be arriving soon with urgent news, no one expected the secrets it would unlock especially when it comes to the one and only, simple Merlin. But he isn't as simple as he seems. *I'm rating this story M for Mature just to be safe because I can guarantee, there will be quite a bit of strong language, incredibly descriptive.. Descriptions of violence. Lots of violence in certain chapters. Lots of stuff. Enjoy!!*
