Alisha White is a friend of the band Nickelback and has been since The Long Road was released in 2003. Most of the band, Daniel, Chad, and Mike, see Alisha as a little sister, and for a while, Ryan did too, but after the release of All The Right Reasons, he begins to see her as more than a friend.

Brittany Kroeger is the younger sister of Chad and Mike Kroeger, who are in the band Nickelback. She is 12 years younger than Chad. Brittany is 21 years old in 2009 when she comes back home from her abusive ex-boyfriend, Jason, and moves in with Chad in his home. Whilst living with Chad, she meets two new people, Ryan Peake, who Chad had been friends with since his 11th grade year and her kindergarten year. Then she meets Daniel Adair, the drummer of the band. Daniel had just been going through a divorce from his wife, when he laid eyes on Brittanyfor the first time. He thought she was beautiful and wanted her right off the bat, but his divorce had yet to be finalized. it's 2017 and Summer, Bradley, Thomas, and Raymond are 11 years old. Summer released her first album, Never Let Go, in 2016 and had chart topping singles all over the world. Ryan and the guys have released their new album, Feed the Machine, and started their tour across the world. Ryan and Julian's mother, Penelope, have been together since after Summer's West Virginia concert, and are expecting a set of triplets, and they're all girls. They are set to be married in Hawaii in 2018. Tragedy strikes again, though, when a loved one passes away due to a sickness. How will the group cope with this loss? Will it be enough?
