Sam and Sage are next-door neighbors with an almost-four-year strong rivalry that peaks when they both apply to be Professor Olekev's Research Assistant. Unlike other professors, Olekev only chooses one student to study under her for their last two semesters, and every student that does transitions from college to the workforce seamlessly. You're almost guaranteed your dream job with a recommendation letter from Olekev. Which is why Sam needs that letter. And he'll do anything to get it. Even share the position with his stupidly pretty arch nemesis. ( © saeglopur )

Asher King's life has revolved around putting up an involuntary mask to hide his true self. With successful parents boasting about his 'pretend' success, Asher feels as though the life he is living was never his to begin with, and a home of happiness is far out of reach. While the luxurious life is envied by most, Asher is only followed by social anxiety and suffocation in a life he doesn't want. The only place where he feels like he can genuinely escape is the little flower shop down the street, where he doesn't expect to find the school's star football player. Leo Gaines is Greenville's golden boy who is destined for success in the NFL. One would think that Leo would do anything to keep a squeaky clean reputation, but Leo would do anything to live a life for himself. Everyone seems to love the confidence he oozes but the subtle respect he always values. However, one thing doesn't fit the agenda: he is still coming to terms with his bisexuality. After multiple encounters with the mysterious boy from the flower shop he works at, Leo soon realizes that he can't help falling for the flower boy. Can Leo find the relationship of his dreams while trying to find a future in a world that exudes masculinity? Will Asher finally find authenticity that will break him free from the marionette puppet he is staged to play? Find out in "Flowers for Football."

Toby Wentworth's life is a clusterfuck. For a lot of reasons. And one of them just happens to be the fact that he is very gay, and also so far in the closet that he's practically in Narnia. But then there's this guy. This guy in his calculus class who winks at him. And suddenly, they're partners for a project. And Toby cannot stop thinking about him. Toby does his best to balance school, work, relationships, and the biggest secret he's ever kept as life goes on. He does, honestly. He tries so very hard. But things like drama, bizarre coincidences, and, of course, his crippling tendency to overthink have been making it difficult, and it's really not fair. But Toby just cannot stop thinking about that boy. And there are times when he wants to hate himself because of it. Sometimes, Toby's life sucks. He'll admit it. But as aggravating as the feeling of being just out of reach of a romance he desperately craves is, there's something... thrilling about it. Something that, no matter how many times he tries, cannot get him to stop this madness. He's in trouble. Absolutely. But maybe trouble can have its benefits. *** cover art by me! Two months after finding out that they have magical abilities, Quinn is still struggling to come to terms with the fact that they're a witch. It becomes even more difficult when another, significantly more troubling talent starts to emerge: the ability to see ghosts. ***** Even though Quinn tries to ignore the spirits haunting the old college campus, they soon find themself inexplicably drawn to Vincent, a boy from the 1930s with a sweet disposition and a tragic past, and his rag-tag group of ghosts. Before they know it, they find themself on a desperate hunt for answers and artifacts from their former lives, aided by Luis, a charming coffin maker with a penchant for the paranormal who Quinn can't seem to stay away from. In the end, it all comes down to one question: to accept or not to accept their magic? Spoiler alert: caring more and more about the ghosts you're supposed to set free doesn't make things easier. This is a spin-off to LOVE AND OTHER WICKED THINGS but can be read as a stand-alone. Content warning: this story contains themes of anxiety, death, insomnia, mentions of alcoholism, mentions of cancer, mentions of drug overdose, mentions of motorcycle accident, mentions of parental neglect, paranoia, panic attack

Jonah Moshe knew working over Christmas break would be awful, especially at Happy's 24/7 Pharmacy, where he'd get to start his day in a dimly lit convenience store that smelled like cat food and cigarettes, listening to his co worker blab on for six hours straight. But then Nicky Haddad comes in. And he comes again. And again. And again. And suddenly, working the morning shift doesn't seem all that bad. (Double POV story)
