ALL IS FAIR IN LOVE AND WAR. That's what people say. But for Derek, love is a war and nothing is fair. Derek used to lived the sweet life, but then, his parents went bankrupt and the life he used to know disappeared. His world was turned up side down. For the sake of his parents and the sake of saving face in society, Derek was suddenly engaged to a brooding, tall, and handsome man that went by the name of Haden Parker-Smith of Smith Enterprises. A man Derek never thought he'd have to ever associate with. He's hot, then he is cold. It's giving Derek whiplash. Especially when Haden's actions seem to contradict his words. Did they have chemistry or was this just a game? Were the kisses just lies, or was Derek actually falling madly in love with Haden. The governments failed. The new generation has taken over. Everything was failing - from the economy to overpopulation. The world split into two sides; The Freedom activists and the Restoration. The Restoration, which was half of the world, decided that it was the people's fault that the world ended up that way - so, they came to the conclusion that keeping the rich alive was the only way, and killing the poor and homeless as a result.
